AXN RC plane hits tower (POV footage).
My AXN Clouds Floater RC plane has already had a crash into the control tower and today, when I tried to land on the top of the tower, a strong, gusty wind sucked me directly into the rails around the edge.
Dang!
The plane bounced back onto the roof of a nearby hangar and then slid down, falling 3m onto the ground. The impact with the hangar roof knocked the keychain camera off and it took a while to find it -- but it was still recording!
Damage to the AXN -- a break behind the wing and some "bluntening" of the nose. Five minutes later, thanks to a little hot-glue, she was back in the air!
