After many successful flights, the ESC in Wayne's rather expensive and very fast electric Srimok helicopter failed mid-flight, forcing an emergency autorotation and a sprint across the field to try and beat out the flames.
The heat from the failed ESC also caused the separate receiver battery to fail just a couple of feet from touchdown.
All things considered, this was a brilliant save and minimal damage was sustained. Wayne could do with improving his time in the 100 yards sprint though ;-)
