Watch, as my Lotus T580 quadcopter (with updated flight-controller board) does the famous "flip of death" and plants itself inverted from about 80 feet.
I wasn't yet flying in X-mode (that was my next step) and there was only a slight breeze but the T580 started drifting backwards. I corrected but the drift continued until I had full forward stick -- then it just flipped.
This was the second flight of the day and it had a fully charged battery.
Dang!
I won't be fixing it -- there are better quads to test.
