I am cautiously optimistic after presenting the case for the Tokoroa International Model Park to a full meeting of the South Waikato District Council.
Most of the councilors seemed genuinely interested and asked excellent questions following the presentation -- questions that showed they had been listening and were giving the idea some serious consideration.
The presentation of a stack of pledges weighing in at over 2.5Kg seems to have had the desired impact and none of those present were able to raise any real objections to the initiative.
I'll keep everyone informed as to future developments and wish to thank you all for your support. Hopefully, the park will soon come to fruition and we'll see many of you in person, enjoying a good time flying along side the rest of us.
