Barry's AXN RC plane has a mid-air explosion
The ESC in Barry's AXN Floater exploded in mid-air and sent the model spiraling into the ground from a great height.
As is always the case when a member crashes a model at the SWMAC, sympathy was in short supply but the smart-assed wisecracks were plentiful.
No worries, it's now all glued up and a new ESC will have it back in the air in no-time.
These AXN's sure are tough. After spiraling in from about 300 feet, it took just 5 minutes with the hot-glue gun to repair the airframe.
