It was the best weekend's flying we've had in months, on a warm autumn day.
Plenty of RC planes, helicopters, jets and multi-rotors were in the air, with many of the usual offenders - and some new ones on hand to add to the fun.
A good AXN swarm accounted for two crashes and we even had to call on AceFlyerNZ's tricopter to do a Thunderbirds rescue.
A great time was had by all -- and Barry (aka Tom Cruise) was there to lend a hand too.
