Sometimes, the best laid plans (and designs) don't always deliver the results you were expecting and overlooking basics (such as the wildly varying center of pressure produced by a flat-plate wing) can catch you out on the test-flight. I may add some camber to the wing on this design and see how much difference it makes to the flight characteristics -- stay tuned.
