Drone Rant: You won't believe these extra UK police powers!
RC & drone news (17 Feb, 2019) - the UK government is pushing through extra powers for police that will allow them to stop and search people and their vehicles for drones without need of a warrant, seizing any drones found and also copying the contents of any SD cards.
Meanwhile, hundreds of people die every year in the UK and many thousands are badly injured as a result of knife crime -- yet that seems to be a problem pushed onto the back-burner in favour of criminalising law-abiding drone owners.
