#SaveOurSky Yes, it is fake news time, with media carrying a ridiculous report that a drone operator tried to crash his craft into a Piper PA31 light aircraft as it was landing at an airport in the UK. It is time we, the RC flying community, did something about the level of fake news and the tendency for SOME pilots and a sensationalist media, to "make shite up" in an effort to vilify drones (and therefore all RC model fliers).
If you are an RC model flier and haven't yet completed the survey/consultation form that the UK Department for Transport is running, then do so NOW, because otherwise, many members of the public, misinformed by these fake news reports, will provide politicians with all the ammunition they need to shut down our hobby.
