According to reports, an attempt was made on the life of the Venezualan President by way of two drones (reportedly DJI Matrice 600 multirotors) loaded with explosives.
I'm sorry but this just doesn't pass the sniff test in so many ways but the media is (as always) baying for stricter regulation and forecasting more such attacks to come.
Will it harm the hobby? If it does then we need to ask why -- given that umbrellas and cups of tea and Toyota pickup trucks have proven to be many times more effective.
