Maiden flight, 20cc Yak 54 profile RC plane
We had a visitor over the weekend and he test-flew his Yak 54 profile with DLE20. It was almost like the old-days. Just a group of like-minded folk having fun and enjoying each other's company.
This is the pilot's first non-foamie, having previously only flow an AXN and a mini-Saturn. He did pretty well and really enjoyed his visit. He's making plans to come back soon.
And the guy in the chair did surprisingly well on the buddy-box -- although there is a fencepost with his name on it now :-) He has now just ordered his first RC plane and some RC gear.
Great weather, great company, great fun -- almost like the old days.
