My 6S quad has been flying well enough to enjoy flying with the flight board dampening mounts. However, at its first race, there was a twitch that was strong enough that made the quad almost un-raceable. It flew mostly fine during free style racing but at the twitch was causing the quad to veer off course and cause too many close encounters with gates and the ground.
Adding the silicone motor mounts completely eliminated the twitch. The quad flies very smoothly now. As this is the first quad I have flying with 6S, I'm going to keep using these dampeners on my future builds.
