You have all you need to fly 3D, now fly! - Walkera V100D08
Walkera has made a lot of things to fit the market and customer's need, but are they the best for the performance? Not always. For example, Walkera has made a lot of models with Brushless Motors and Metal parts, customers love them, however, comes to this kind of palm size helis, they tend to involve a lot of "Man Hour" to assemble it and specializing metal parts, which is entirely depend on the worker's craftsmanship, sometimes they reach standard, sometimes they don't. My point is, the more complicate the heli, the more chances to have things go wrong. This Walkera V100D08 has simple parts, like Plastic Rotor Head and Brushed Motors, you may ask, they are not attractive? To me, they work just fine, and in some way, they perform better than Metal Parts and Brushless motors. Simply say, plastic parts have better precision than metal parts, because you need to know, since the metal parts are so small, sometimes metal workers may have "slip" their hands and made some tiny flaws, same case with the tiny Brushless Motors and ESCs. In our experience, comes to this kind of small stuff, plastic maybe better. The V100D08 flies extremely stable, thanks to the light weight structure, it perform 3D aerobatics very well, if you are not a hardcore 3D flyer, it cruises around the house or in the park just fine, we flew it and it performs like a big heli, it's great!
