Bernhard Schroeder is the Director of Programs at the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center at San Diego State University. His 20 year background includes being a partner in a startup that grew to be a $1 billion marketing company, a Chief Marketing Officer and working with both Fortune 500 brands like Apple, Mercedes-Benz, American Express and startups like Yahoo! and Amazon.com. Today, he mentors more than 25 start ups with differing levels of support.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
