HI-SEAS V Crew Exits Dome After 8-Month Space Exploration Simulation
On Aug. 17, 2017, six Hawai‘i Space Exploration Analog and Simulation (HI-SEAS) crew members "felt the sun and wind on their faces," according to UH News. They started the mock mission on January 19, 2017 in the geodesic dome located 8,200 feet above sea level on Mauna Loa on the island of Hawaiʻi. -- Mission in Photos:
