The HypeTrain is Rotor Riot's entry into the 2306 motor class. It's designed for freestyle pilots: enough power to impress with big punchouts, but not so much that your batteries all give up and die. It's smooth and tunable. And surprisingly efficient!
In this video, I'll talk you through the design decisions that Rotor Riot made when they created this motor, such as: solid-core wire with silver plating, open bottom, and using a screw instead of a C-clip on the motor shaft. Then we'll take a look at their thrust test results. Finally, I'll give you my conclusion about who this motor is best for.
