Latency in RC systems explained
So what exactly is latency and how does it affect the way your RC system controls your RC plane or RC helicopter?
Well in a nutshell, latency is the delay experienced between moving a stick or throwing a switch on your transmitter and the resulting movement of a servo on your model.
There are many elements to latency but in coming videos, I'll be measuring the latency introduced by the radio link itself. Later I'll also be measuring the speeds of a number of popular servos to see how much they contribute to the total system latency.
