My local beach island is under 5 feet of water. The spring thaw mixed with continuous rain has caused a 100 year flood in parts of Canada. This is just one of many locations affected by the flooding. Tragically this island is an eco-system to the wildlife who have all now been displaced. The beach and island are entirely gone!
