There is definitely more of a division now than there was even a few months ago between quadcopter pilots that build racers as light as they can to go as fast as they can and other quadcopter pilots that build with more durable frames that can take a hard crash and not break. Both sides have advantages... speed... durability... choose your side. The Purple 215 definitely falls on the durability side. It gives near "tank" protection for about 30 grams of additional weight.
