RC magazines from 1970
Here's a bit of nostalgia for all those who (like me) were flying RC model planes as long ago as the 1970s.
I take a browse through some 1970 editions of the British Radio Modeller magazine from that era.
And yes, I did the calculations, 130 pounds in 1970 is the equivalent of 3,000 pounds today, based on average earnings. And that was for a modest 4-channel system with 4 servos!
That is why many of us flew single-channel RC back then -- multi-channel proportional was just too expensive.
