From a rather unknown concept one or two years ago to a buzzword, the coworking movement is spreading rapidly around the world and changing people's way of working and developing (new) businesses.
Coworking is not only about working in a shared workplace, it is first and foremost getting part of an ecosystem where everything is set up for you to meet, learn, share, boost your productivity and your creativity, in a "you take out what you put in" philosophy.

With a background in economics and a special interest in regional economic development, Lisa is currently an expert at the Walloon Telecommunications Agency (AWT) where she is in charge of coordinating a network of 8 coworking spaces called CoWallonia.
CoWallonia has emerged with the support of Creative Wallonia, a governmental program aiming to boost creativity and innovation in the Walloon region. In that regard, Wallonia acted as a precursor in recognizing and promoting coworking as a way to foster collaboration, build innovative communities and develop creative ecosystems.
