Regulations, especially badly designed regulations, will not solve the drone problem here in New Zealand, nor anywhere else and here is why.
My apologies for this overly-long video but I hope that there are some small germs of commonsense and insight contained within it that will be taken onboard by the Civil Aviation Authority here in New Zealand and other regulators around the world such as the FAA, CASA, Transport Canada etc.

Remember -- this is not a drone problem, it's a "people problem" and new laws will only affect the law-abiding -- not those arrogant or ignorant fliers who endanger the lives and properties of others with these craft.
