/ Lijiang, China is one of the few well-preserved historic towns left in China. Our movie was shot some years ago before tourism really expanded, so we can look back in time and see village life as it was in the past century. The little town is a pedestrian zone with ancient wooden buildings and several small streams running through it, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Even though it has become more crowded with tourists, Lijiang still is a wonderful place to visit.
