As part of the Build A Drone project, we received an interesting FPV camera gimbal module fully assembled with Sony 700TVL and built-in 8g servo. This gimbal was designed to simply mount onto a multirotor frame. We will be using the APM 2.6 camera control to stabilize this gimbal using any of the free output channels. The actual camera is suspended with double sticky foam between the mount like a sandwich, hopefully that will be good enough to reduce any vibration. If you remove this gimbal, there is a extension plate for a GoPro camera. We will post the fpv videos once we get it airborne on a test flight.
