The Syma X5C (X5C-1) can be extremely maneuverable if you remove the weight of its camera. Here's how! You can greatly improve flight time if you fly entirely without the camera, or fly with an 808 keychain camera in its place. The X5C camera is very simple to remove. This video shows how and why.

This video also includes Syma X5C battery connector fix to correct the issues with the current connector's loss of power. Simply remove the battery connector from its recessed slot and extend it outward to allow direct connection of the battery to the connector.
