Pixhawk 2 Alpha Test with Bixler 3 and ArduPlane 3.6 Firmware
I wanted to share my first experience with Pixhawk 2 and so far I've been very impressed. The Bixler 3 is a bit tight but I was able to get Pixhawk 2 mounted in the fuselage. In the video I manually take off, trim, switch to FBWA, switch to Loiter, and then land manually.
This test was done with ArduPlane 3.6 firmware. I'll be covering Pixhawk 2 in much more detail in an upcoming video. I'm very excited about this open source hardware and software platform.
A special thanks to Philip Rowse (www.proficnc.com) and Paul Dinardi (www.jestersdrones.com) for their support.
