In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew helps organize and administer the NW Qualifier, an FPV race held in Bend, Oregon. The event was arranged by Drone Complier with substantial support from SOAR Oregon, the state's economic development agency for drones. Held on the polo field at Camp Fraley Ranch, the day began with a practice round, followed by three rounds of competitive racing, with the top pilots competing for one of five “golden tickets” to New York for the Drone Nationals being held in August. In a storybook ending to the event, a father and son – Conrad and Sorell Miller – who traveled all the way from Idaho to participate, won first and second place and qualified to compete in the National Championship.
