During our Raleigh-Durham trip, John Biggs met up with business lead for LYF Shoes Brent Ward. He envisions a world with 3D printed and reusable footware. With handcrafted goods becoming a trend in America, things are looking up for LYF Shoes. These $150 shoes have one solid piece that holds down the outer shell and holds on the sole. LYF's odd-looking clogs are completely recyclable and can be repaired by anyone with a rudimentary grasp of fabric cutting and whittling.
