The grappling hook gun can shoot distances of up to 150', using 3mm kevlar rope which is rated for 2000lbs! It is lightweight, and probably the smallest grappling hook gun ever created. In our next video we will be finishing our prototype 8HP electric superwinch that will allow us ascend buildings faster than anything commercially available! We used our LulzBot Taz6 3d printer to print the shroud. Check out the Taz6 here:
The shroud was printed with Advanced ABS+ from printed with 100% infill.
