Although there is lots of room for improvement this maiden went much better than expected. I thought surely that I botched something with the build or configuration that would keep me grounded.
I'm very impressed with what Tridge and team have done with the VTOL firmware. I'm going to work on making my elevons larger for better control and tuning PIDs. Then I'll work towards transitioning to forward flight and back to hover again.
Thanks for all of those that have been following along and offering suggestions. I hope to continue learning more about VTOL tailsitters.
