“Do whatever will create the best story.” The Bearded Man has lived by these words his whole life, for better or for worse. Sometimes he’s landed in some sticky situations, sometimes he’s flat out screwed up bad. Other times, his life has bordered on the miraculous, all thanks to relentlessly pursuing this simple philosophy. Whenever in doubt, this has been the decider that steers him in one direction or another. Stay at the desk job or travel the world? Stay out until 4AM or get some rest? Skinny dip in the icy ocean or play it safe? A lot of life’s seemingly tough decisions can be easily solved when they are approached with this framework. Is it the path to stability? No. Is it the path to security? Nope nope nope. Is it how The Bearded Man ended up in an insane asylum, dressed as a chicken with a pink tutu on and a backpack full of several cans of spray paint? Yep.
