A long layover in Bangkok, Thailand, doesn’t have to mean twiddling your thumbs for hours in the airport. Forget about making yourself comfortable in the terminal and instead embark on an adventure in the capital city. Even if you only have a day, you can see the sights and experience the culture all before your next flight is ready for takeoff.
Begin your adventures at the Grand Palace, where you’ll feel like royalty. Built in 1782, this regal compound is home to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the Siwalai Garden, and several museum exhibits.
