RFTC: Blade 200 QX Quadcopter Frame Replacement from Gorilla Bob's RC at AMA Expo 2015
In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew speaks with Gorilla Bob from Gorilla Bob's RC about his sturdy, 3D printed Blade 200 QX frame replacements. Developed as a low-cost, crash-worthy alternative to the 200 QX's original white plastic shell, it uses nylon bolts to attach the limbs to the main body of the aircraft. They shear away in the event of a collision, preventing more serious damage to the airframe.
