In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew attends a media event in San Francisco, California for the new Zenmuse XT, a gimbal-stabilized thermal imaging camera developed through a partnership between FLIR and DJI. The Zenmuse XT is designed for plug-and-play compatibility with DJI's popular Inspire One and Matrice 100 quadcopters, and is fully integrated into DJI's LightBridge video transmission system and the DJI GO app for iOS and Android devices. The Zenmuse XT is available with different sensor resolutions, lenses and frame rates, and is intended for a range of tasks from search and rescue and emergency response to utility inspection and precision agriculture. Prices are yet to be announced, and the product is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2016.
