Maiden Flight Starts on 4:38
on 1:46 we but in the CLI Commands from RCgroups post!
What is used and needed for this how to
1. an F4 flight controller or F7 (also F3 but better F4)
we use a Revolt V2 for this howto.
2. computer with Betaflight Configurator
3. files as described below
4. at least blheli_s ESC or Blheli32 (we use blheli_s in this how to)
How To 1-11
1. first you should install the Betaflight Standalone Configurator () since Google will stop the support for apps (unfortunately).
2. download and extract the zip file! () the correct firmware for your board in our example we use a Revolt V2 so we also need the Revolt firmware.
3. connect your board via USB and DFU to your PC with the Revolt board are the two small pins which you can bridge with a pair of tweezers. If you already had a betaflight installed (betaflight 2.1 or greater|) then you can use a CLI command "BL" (for bootloader) in the upper right corner of the window.
4. Select the correct firmware (from the zipfile) in our case the one for Revolt!
5. select Flash and NOT FORGOT to enable COMPLETE CHIP RESET.
6. after the flash you can go directly to the CLI tab and paste the following from here () with copy & paste and enter the best possible settings and with "SAVE" you can write the whole thing on your flight controller.
7. after the restart you can make your settings and our Crossfire is connected to TX and RX 3 for CRSF.
8. in the config window you can see that the multishot and unsynced is selected with our F4 Revolt also the 32/16 with other FC you can leave other values (lowest) inside it. Of course, you can also use Dshot 600 or 1200 on Blheli32 but Kalman Author will recommend multishot.11
9. Set your Reciver endpoints, rates and PID we leave PID on stock only rates we changed.
10. filters are all disabled in this build, we leave it disabled in some cases it may be necessary to activate the d-term notch filter. keep an eye on your engine temperatures!
11. Set your mode switches for Arming and black box.
12. Set Blackbox in 500hz and internal.
13. Ready time for maiden
