E-flite UMX Carbon Cub SS - Maiden Flight
There was a calm before the storm tonight when I got home from work, so I rushed out to maiden my E-flite UMX Carbon Cub SS before the wind picked back up. By the time I got the battery charged, it had gotten a bit windier out, but I went for it anyway. I gave it a quick flight, but right as I was deciding to land, I turned with the wind and stalled it. Luckily it landed in grass (*right* next to a sidewalk!) and the only damage done was a slight crease in the rudder. No biggie. I'm gonna have to learn to fly this plane in a larger area before I try flying it in a tight area again. It needs a lot of rudder in the turns.
