DJI Naza and APM 2.5 Basic Wind Test
Just a quick video that I wanted to post from earlier today. Wind gusts in ATX were between 15 and 20 mph. I flew both the DJI Naza and APM 2.5 controllers for a few minutes each in stabilization mode, just to compare their handling. Both did really well, but the Naza was easier to keep in centered. Given I don't have the APM dialed in so we're talking about the out-of-the-box experience. I know for a fact there are all sorts of calibration settings for the APM 2.5 so I'll post a follow-up when I get everything dialed in.
I highly recommend both of these controllers to anyone interested in flying multi-rotors. The Naza is a clear winner if you don't want to do any tweaking and want to essentially plug and fly. You'll still need to calibrate your radio, but once that's done the Naza Attitude mode is pretty tight.
