Review: Kylin Vision FPV visor from KDS
This is the Kylin video visor for FPV flying from KDS Model (links at the end of this description)
Pros:
- it works
- easy to use
- nice fit and finish
- satisfactory video quality
- built-in 2000mAH 1S lipo with charger
- nicely self-contained, no trailing wires or battery leads
- quite compact for an FPV visor
- autoscan or manual channel-setting
Cons:
- deceptive packaging (not 3D, 100g heavier than stated and the screen is not 800x600)
- not a good/comfortable fit (at least on my face)
- too small to allow corrective eyewear to be used
- focal length too short for oldies like me
- no AV input
- no headphone output
Summary:
Definitely one option (of many) if your eyes are young enough not to need corrective eyewear and so long as its receiver performance is up to scratch -- watch for the follow-up video for more info on that.
