Carrying and Checking 1s lipo batteries (ft. AOK 1-6S High Precision Voltage Checker) - QUICK GUIDE
Our hobby requires our attention on every single detail. And there are plenty of details to keep us busy and worried..
One of the most important task to get used to early on is taking care of your lipo batteries. Yes, even those tiny, cheap, 1s batteries. Training yourself in keeping track of the voltage of your batteries, the days they remain fully charged, storing them in storage voltage etc will help you increase the lifetime of your bigger and more expensive batteries in the future.
Streamlining boring tasks or making them simpler will help you worry less about the things that have to be taken care of anyway.
In this quick guide I show my way of organizing, carrying and checking 1s lipo batteries for my micro brushed quads. This is no be-all and end-all guideline, by any means. But I hope it gives you ideas so you can organize and take care of your own batteries a little better.
This is QUICK GUIDE: Carrying and Checking 1s lipo batteries. Let's go!

I have tried just a few voltage checkers but this "High Precision" voltage checker for 1-6S Lipos from AOK has proven to be extremely accurate on 1s batteries: (edit: it seems to be obsolete, hope they restock it)
This looks to be its replacement:
If you prefer one with a low voltage buzzer alarm, to use it with bigger batteries as well, you can check this one out:
I DO NOT recommend these ones, since I had ordered a pair and both of them showed very wrong measurements on 1S batteries:
Materials used for the harness:
Female jumper cables:
Handy little heat shrink set:
Micro battery plug 1.25mm:
Adhesive velcro tapes:
You can also use the super strong "Dual-Lock" from 3M:
Also here is a link to my favorite case for micro quads and/or fpv monitors, as seen at the end of the video:
