himico have released their RS232C/RS422- an I/F serial which doesn't need to be connected through a hosts CPU to allow for wireless communication.
This complete type serial transmission module integrates Mitusmi Electric's newest Bluetooth module and comes equipped with the stack profile embedded in the flashrom. The module comes with an antenna, is easily mass produced, and can be mounted on any device. Users do not need any knowledge of high frequency or RF/antenna tuning to use it. The RS232C/RS422 has a transceiver function which allows for simultanous serial transmission and two-way conversation and is useful in a wide range of applications.
