Prometech Next-Generation Moving Particle Analysis Solution

At a seminar at Tokyo University on July 6, 2008, Prometech Software gave an introduction into their next generation of CAE systems. PhysiCafe is a next-generation Moving Particle Semi-implicit (MPS) method based analysis solution that is entirely different from existing Computer-aided Engineering systems.
The new software allows users to create new concept designs while working with an interactive simulation of shapes that are immediately formed from details provided by the user.
PhysiCafe enables fluid-structure interaction analysis of events such as the washout of scrap metal and the scraping out of lubrication oil due to high speed rotating gears and also enables simulation of liquid-liquid agitation of fluids with different properties. The software can also handle many real world properties including those of not only rigid bodies but also of elastic bodies, brittle bodies, and fluids.
