/ Salzburg, Austria hosts the famous St. Rupert’s Fair (Rupertikirtag) that celebrates the founding saint of Salzburg. The festival goes for five days and is filled with music and dance and carnival rides with lots of food, beer and wine and great fun for the familes. Primarily it’s a local event and yet there are lots of tourists who enjoy it as well, if you are here during the final week of September. It happens every year.
