Forced to rebuild on a strange new world after fleeing their home, the Betas' battlefield presence very much reflects a society that must use what it has available as efficiently as possible while staying on the move. Fortifications allow the Betas to force chokepoints to defend what's theirs, while factories armor Beta troops with highly mobile and versatile mechanized weaponry to bring the fight to the enemy.
