We gave you 30 days to use your creativity and test your talents, by inviting you to remix the upcoming single of US trio Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren. And you guys sure used your time well! Each giving their own interpretation to 'Give Me A Sound', we're proud to announce the three winners of the remix contest! These are the winning talents, whose remixes will be featured in the official release pack of 'Give Me A Sound' in early November!
It wasn't an easy pick for Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren. Their sound is a pool of diversity, and therefore led to many different interpretations of 'Give Me A Sound', each setting forth a unique and outstanding mix of genres. Luckily, the talented trio has found its winners. The big winner and absolute number one of the remix contest is the one by Canadian duo Brad & Victor H. They are responsible for a powerful and trancy interpretation with a piano driven break, making it absolutely fit for big-room purposes. The guys won't only have their remix featured in the official 'Give Me A Sound' E.P., but also win a pair of KRK KNS 8400 Studio Headphones, exclusive sound sets from Freshly Squeezed Samples and 100 £ in cash! Congrats, Brad & Victor H.
Sayphonik, the moniker of L.A.-based Phillip Saypanya, provided a playful and deep prog-trance remix with break-beat intermezzo's, making it to number 2! Last but not least, there's the warm, melodic and sun-drenched prog-house remix of Bulgarian producer Hristian Hristov. He's the number 3 winner in the remix competition, once again proving that new talent is everywhere!
We'd like to congratulate these talents and hope to be hearing a whole lot more musical masterpieces from their studio! Didn't make it as a winner? Then you might want to check our other remix competition:/
