If you're looking for a great FPV platform then this could be it -- although I'll reserve judgement until after the flight tests.
Pro's:
- it's big and *very* roomy
- it's an easy build
- it's generally well designed
- nice attention to detail with the accessories
- good quality EPO molding
- easy to break down for transport
- wheels for operation from hard surfaces
Con's:
- the ugly, silly big transparent canopy
- the need to glue the fuselage halves together
- the unusual hardware (horns, etc)
- the manual is barely adequate
- no carbon in the tail boom
- crappy 3-bladed propellor
- no instructions for the ESC
Preflight rating: 9/10 without the canopy, 7/10 with the canopy.
Despite the few negatives I've highlighted, I really like the potential this model shows as a big, stable fixed-wing FPV platform. If it flies as nicely as I expect it will then this is certainly going to become my primary test platform for UAV products.
I should add that OverTheHorizonFPV (the Australian distributors) have been quick to respond to questions and queries regarding this model.
