After my first attempt at a roll with the CC3D () on the PVC quad, I wanted to know how close the the setting (degrees per second) did the quad actually roll. My first attempt had the setting at 300 deg/sec so naturally I doubled it and tried again.
This video shows two settings (600 and 450 deg/sec) captured by a GoPro, with a timecode overlaid on the video and then slowed down so I can measure the start and end point of the roll and how long it took to rotate through 360 degrees.
The actual roll rate wasn't far off the setting and I settled on 450 degrees / second for flying in rate mode.
