DIY: The $25 FPV Diversity Controller project (Preview)
While I'm tidying up the FPV backpack I thought I'd give you a sneak peek at the $25 4-channel FPV video diversity controller I've also designed and built.
This unit will handle up to four receivers, automatically switching to the one which has the strongest signal. This will allow you to use directional and omnidirectional antennas to get maximum range without sacrificing coverage.
The PC board has been designed to be a great introduction to soldering surface-mount components for those who are unfamiliar with them.
