E-Flite Carbon Z Cub BNF low passes and landings.
Looks great in the air, everybody has comments on her, impressive. It is a slow flier and does phenomenal scale landings. The light weight and the big surfaces make the Carbon Z Cub sensitive to wind, just like the real plane. Landings can be quite short. Most of my fellow pilots thought that the plane would be too big for the Park and has proven to be the opposite. Easy to fly. I'm using a 6S 4000 mAh Turnigy Nano Tech battery pushed all the way back in the tray and extra 1 ounce of lead weight in the tail. I felt that the plane tends to climb a bit with full power. Battery last for 10 minutes and still left more than 1/4 capacity. I might try moving the battery a bit forward. I am using 20% down elevator with full flaps. I'm thinking in trying 25% to see what happens. I am flying on low rates 70% and I am happy how it handles. I have not done any 3D just yet. I have been enjoying flying the Big Boy with my Spektrum DX9. Its nice to have the radio talking to you. I have to test the power of this plane, I have been just enjoying how nice it flies.
