RC FPV 5.8Ghz Ground Station Test using Helical vs Skew Planar - Using Hobby King RC305 Receivers
This was testing two separate ground stations both using 5.8Ghz Hobby King RC305 Receivers. The only difference being the one on the left is Using a Helical Antenna and the Right is using a Skew Planar Antenna.
We had a lot of issues possible caused by the Power lines . . well that's the theory. So it was a good way of testing out both Systems. This is where a Diversity receiver would really come in handy.
