For some time now I've been referring to the exemption that CAA offered me back in January of this year.
Unfortunately, although I have delivered on all my promises, fulfilled all the requirements and signed a document (the contents of which will be revealed later), the exemption has not been forthcoming.
When, at the start of this week, I requested a temporary ability to fly (in order to do some important work before the harsh autumn weather arrives next week), I was told "NO".
Now I honestly do not believe an exemption was ever on the table at all.
Once my lawyer says I can, I will upload a follow-up video to this one.
Remember, all I've *ever* wanted to do was fly RC models, as I have done safely and without incident for decades -- why should it be so difficult today?
